This short film tells the heart-warming Christmas story of two Saskatchewan farm children and a pony named Pancho. There’s no real place for a horse on a fully mechanized wheat farm, but with will and heart they prove that one can be found.
Having this archived online is such a gift to our family! My father was William Cornish who plays the brother in this film. He died in 2007 but I am able to show this movie to my children, his grandchildren, some of whom never met him. Thank you so much for providing these archived films!

This is a really interesting film with tons of good values and excellent behavior. Its a bit personal, because when I was kid I really wanted a hive of honey bees. Ten years later I got mine. Just as these kids worked hard to get their Ponies for Christmas.
